South Jordan Middle School uses the following bell schedules on a regular basis:
- TA Bell Schedule: This bell schedule is used 2-3 times per week and allows for a 25 minute teacher advisory period in between 2nd and 3rd periods.
- No TA Bell Schedule: This bell schedule is used 1-2 times per week on days when the TA period is not needed.
- Friday Collaboration Schedule: This bell schedule is used each week on Friday to accomodate all seven periods in a late-start format because of teacher collaboration time.
Additionally, a Modified Block Schedule is used approximately once per month to accomdodate socials, assemblies, and other activities.
